Born to Joseph Augé and Marie-Françoise (née Auger) He married Julie Beaudet 10 Jan 1826 at Lotninière and they had seven children. When Julie died he remarried to Elizabeth Houde in 1843. They emigrated in 1850 arriving in Eagan, Minnesota in 1852 where they settled, The five boys that emigrated with them also settled and married in the area.
