Sauquoit - Mrs. Carrie Barrett, 97, of Norwich Corners, died yesterday in her home after a long illness.
She was born in Vienna, NY. She attended schools there. She was married to Darwin Barrett in 1900. He died in 1947.
Before coming to Norwich Corners about a year ago, Mrs. Barrett had lived in Utica and was a member of the Dryer Memorial Methodist Church.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Stanley ( Leola) Dwyer of Solvay, and a son, Lawrence of Norwich Corners.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the Mapie Street Langdon-Albright Funeral Home with Rev. David Peterson, pastor of the Dryer Memorial Church officiating.
