Oran Leslie "Son" "Fox" Grumbles Jr., 81, of West, Texas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at a local hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cornhill Cemetery in Jarrell. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the funeral home.
Oran was born in Jarrell, Texas, to the late Oran Leslie and Ora (Wade) Grumbles. He owned and operated a trucking business.
Survivors include his best friend and the love of his life, Edith Teat; daughters, Jennifer Ordner and husband, Kevin, of Temple, and Gladys Anna Garland and husband, Hugh, of China Spring; step-daughter, Mary Lou Samford, of West; step-son, Bobby Teat and wife, Courtney, of Minnesota; five grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
