The many accomplishments of her life include her business as an interior decorator, her leadership in many social and civic groups including Wednesday Club of Suisun, garden clubs, working for the Democratic Party, contributions and support of many charities, her successful work as a real estate agent, and many other activities benefiting her family and her community.
She lived a full and wonderful life. Every facet of her life mirrored her style and her grace. Her knowledge of horticulture and landscaping was extensive and served her and her community in significant ways.
In her 94 years she experienced all that life can give you and all the challenges that must be overcome.
To her friends and family she was a constant support and gave guidance when needed. Her travels took her to every corner of our country and throughout the world. Kindness and understanding were shown to all. Faith guided her in all things she did and her belief was unshakable.
She built a Bell Tower in honor of her brother, Dr. Philip Rashid, and contributed significantly to the Catholic Church.
She had a graveside Catholic service at the Rockville Cemetery, an intimate service with close family members. She left this world a more beautiful place for all of us. The blessings of a grateful universe have been bestowed upon her.
She will be with us forever in loving memory.
She is survived by her four sons, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
