Betty Ann Armacost Krebs, 88, of Upperco, passed away peacefully at the Dove House in
Westminster, Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Born June 27, 1932 in Upperco, Maryland, Betty was the daughter of Raymond F. and
Rachel Ruth (Cole) Armacost. She was a 1949 graduate of Franklin High School.
Betty was the beloved wife of Wallace C. Krebs who passed away in 1984. Together they
were married nearly 30 years and raised two children, daughter Jane and son Mark. Betty
loved her family and church. A lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church in
Upperco, Betty was active in nearly all aspects of the church. She was a Sunday School
teacher of more than 40 years, sang in the choir, led church dinners and luncheons,
published the Grace Newsletter for many years and was very active in the Grace UMC
Women.

Betty was a devoted and passionate homemaker for her family. As a young adult, she
worked for Maryland Casualty Insurance and then spent more than 30 years working as
the administrative assistant for her brother Eldridge Armacost and nephew Chris Cavey
with Nationwide Insurance.

Betty is survived by her daughter Jane Drozinski and husband Rick and son Mark Krebs and
wife Susan. Additionally, Betty is survived by grandchildren Heather White and husband
Sean, Stacey Frederick and husband Chris, Brian Krebs and wife Caitlin, Andrew Drozinski
and wife Callie, Rachel Drozinski and Mark Drozinski. Also, by great grandchildren Dori,
Brooks, Miri, Theo, Julia, Kyle, Nora, Nolan, and Jack. Also survived by many nieces and
nephews who she cared for deeply and sister-in-law Reatha Krebs Osborn.

In addition to her husband and mother and father, Betty is predeceased by her brothers
and sister-in-laws Eldridge and Nora Lee Armacost, Raymond Jr. and Ellen Armacost, and
sister and brother-in-law Mary Ruth and Gene Cavey.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 10th from 10-11am at Grace United Methodist
Church at 4618 Black Rock Road Upperco, MD 21155. Funeral services will begin following ​
visitation at 11am with the Rev. Dr. Melissa Rudolph officiating. Graveside services will
follow at Grace UMC Cemetery.
