Henry Bramstedt, age 96, a resident of Sunnyridge Nursing Center, died Tuesday September 25, 2007 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born in the Town of Herman, Sheboygan County on September 23, 1911, a son of the late Henry Sr. and Edna (Roehrborn) Bramstedt.
Henry attended Trinity Lutheran School in Howards Grove. He was a farmhand for William Ochs, Sr. in the town of Mosel for 9 years, later employed at the Kohler Company from 1936 until he retired in 1976.
On December 30, 1939, Edna Spindler and Henry Bramstedt Jr were united in marriage at Bethel United Church of Christ in Ada. The couple lived in Erdman all of their married life.
Surviving Henry is his loving wife, Edna of Sheboygan; his nephews; Orlynn (Sue Ann) Bramstedt of Howards Grove, Allan (Donna) Bramstedt, Dale (Kathleen) Bramstedt, Dennis (Cynthia) Bramstedt, and Ronald (Joann) Bramstedt, all of town Herman, Daniel (Mary) Spindler of Park Ridge, IL; three nieces, Janice (Roger) Lieffring of the town of Sheboygan, Lori (Mark) Feldmann of Elkhart Lake, Marlene (Robert) Ruh of town Rhine, a sister in law, Lavera Bramstedt of Howards Grove as well as great nephews, nieces, great-great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roman and Willard, a sister-in-law, Winona Bramstedt, and a brother and sister-in-law, Walter (Florence) Spindler.
Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
