Born April 27, 1912 in Ogden, Utah to David Slater and Maida Bennion Rishton. Married Clyde S. Toone August 21, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away May 24, 1957. Married John M. Goodman of Woodruff, Arizona on September 6, 1961. He passed away March 13, 1986. Ora was always active in the LDS Church. She especially loved music.
Survived by three daughters, Deon Carpenter (Doug) of Billings, Montana; Myrna Johnson (Les) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Diana Toone (Ray Pisar) of Tempe, Arizona; four sons, Sharon Toone (LaRee) of Glendale, Arizona; Wendell Toone (Crystal) of St. George, Utah; Bruce Toone, Bryan Toone (JoLynn) all of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter-in-law, Pat Parton; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Fry of San Bernardino, Calif.; a brother, Ellis Rishton (Dot) of Salt Lake City, Utah; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a son, Gerald R. Toone; a sister, Catherine Gotchy; and brothers Stanley and Woodrow.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 26th, 1995 at 12 noon in the Rose Park North Stake Center (Fifth Ward), 1155 North Boy Scout Drive (1200 West), where friends may call from 10-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
