Graveside services for Joe Raymond Dancer, 81, of Elkhart, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Pilgrim Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Willhite officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Dancer died Saturday, November 3, 2007, in a Crockett Hospital.
He was born in Anderson County on January 1, 1926 to the late Woodrow and Gertrude Honeycutt Dancer.
He was a U.S. Army Korean veteran and a retired building contractor.
Mr. Dancer is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Ouida Morris Dancer; son, Curtis Dancer; sister, Dell Campbell; brother, Johnnie Dancer; four grandchildren, and and four great-grandchildren.
