James Edward "Ed" Dancer, 91, of Elkhart, died Jun 21, 2006 in Tyler. He was born January 25, 1915, the son of the late Woodrow and Gertrude Honeycutt Dancer. Ed is survived by daughter, Barbara Ann Tidwell; son, Chris Edward Dancer; brothers, Johnnie and Joe; sister, Della Campbell; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial was in Pilgrim Cemetery near Elkhart, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Griffith Dancer, who died September 2, 2004; sister Audrey Campbell; and brother, Luther Dancer who is also buried in Pilgrim Cemetery.
