A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5PM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Memphis Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4PM to 5PM at the church.
Ms. Celia was born December 24, 1952 to the late Billy and Juanita Culpepper Stokes. After graduating from Rehobeth High School she began her path to a 24-year teaching career, earning her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Alabama and Tulane University. She later received her Alternate Teachers Certificate from Louisiana State University. She devoted her life to working with children making a positive impact in their daily lives. Ms. Celia was a member of Memphis Baptist Church
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Cleve Stokes.
