Mrs. Stewart passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007, at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Stewart was born August 19, 1930, in White Oak. She graduated from White Oak High School. She started nursing at Gregg Memorial Hospital (later called Good Shepherd) working there for 15 years, later working at Kilgore Nursing Center for 15 years. Taking care of people was her special gift. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and "Reba". She loved getting together and spending time with her family. Mrs. Stewart was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 1987.
Survivors include her children, Janet Stewart, Danny Stewart, Jeff Stewart, Ronnie Stewart, all of Liberty City, Lisa Stewart of Kilgore, and Mark Stewart of Longview; grandsons, Chris, David, Josh, Jonathan, Jake, Scout, Dakota, Timothy and Rodney; granddaughters, Alaina and Rhalston; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Caitlyn, Brandon and Mikinzi.
