Robert E. Hoffmeyer, age 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Beatrice Hoffmeyer; and siblings Arnold, Leon, Lloyd, Fern, Betty, and Bonnie. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Wanda Hoffmeyer; children Karen (Russ) Lindstrom, Judy Zwyghuizen, Carl (Michelle Roberts) Hoffmeyer; grandchildren Stacy, Clayton, Eric, Vincent, Justin, Marie, Bryan, Mike; great-grandchildren Jordan, Natalie, Ella, Parker, Kyle, Dominic, Zachary, Mackenna, Sire; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donna; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Bob had many hobbies, those of which included bowling, fishing, hunting, telling jokes, and spending time with his family. He worked at McInerney Co. for 31 years. He was a longtime member at Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Carlisle United Methodist Church, 1084 76th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Gary Zinger will be officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Cook Funeral Homes
