He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Amburn and Nora Myrtle Amburn; his daughter Kim Amburn; and his siblings, Ernestine Snyder, Charles Amburn, Hartsell Amburn, Bill Amburn, Eddie Amburn and Wayne Amburn.
He is survived by : his wife Bobbie Amburn; his daughter Cindy Higgins (Cliff); his grandchildren, Katie Preston (Josh) and Andrew Higgins; and his siblings, Floyd Amburn (Gay), Clyde Amburn (Linda), Wanda McCulley (Allen), Josie Currier (Wayne), Jean and Jane Amburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 29th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene (3220 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
