Mrs. Mary Magdaline Ambush, 58, of 2214 Park Mills Road, Adamstown, died Sunday, July 8, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clyde Linberg Ambush, who died in 1979.
Born April 29, 1932, in Frederick County, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Martha Proctor Ambush, and sister of the late Charlotte E. Ambush.
She was a member of Bell's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Anna M. Gibson and Dorothy M. Ambush, both of Adamstown; one son, Deon M. Ambush of Adamstown; one grandson, Marco T. Gibson; three aunts, Ethel Ambush, New York, Gladys Ambush, Frederick, and Ardella Proctor, Washington, D.C. She is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Wednesday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Stauffer Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Barbara J. Barbour and Rev. Wayland Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Kidney Fund, 7315 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, Md. 20814.
