Matilda was the last of the eleven children born to Henry and Sarah Yeager (Yager) Brunstetter Jr. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Brunstetter and Mary Magdalena (Polly) Neff Brunstetter Sr. Matilda was born in 1843 in Trumbull/Mahoning Co. Her parents were early members of the Zion Lutheran Reformed Church in Canfield. She married John H. Lanterman and they had seven children, the first born was Flora in 1861; Hattie; Ann; Robert G. (Sadie Barger); Kate; Elsie; and the last born was Peter in 1874.

Comment: Magdalena (Polly) Brunstetter Harroff was the great granddaughter of Conrad and Magdalena Weaver Neff. Her parents, grandparents and great grandparents are all buried in Old North Cemetery, Canfield, Mahoning Co. OH
