He is the son of the late Earl Quesiday Hatcher and Della Nannie [Blizzard] Hatcher.
He died Sunday, June 19, 1988 at a Charleston, West Virginia hospital following a long illness.
He was a retired salesman and a member of Skelton Freewill Baptist Church. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors, his wife, Ruth Kathleen [Walker] Hatcher; two daughters, Linda Ellis and Lynn Govenor; two step-daughters, Karen Massey and Linda Saunders; a step-son, Rick Fortner; a sister, Juinell Smith (husband Ralph); and 10 grand-children.
Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1988 at the Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel at Prosperity, West Virginia with the Rev. Darrell McNeely officiating. Entombment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum No. 3 at Prosperity, West Virginia.
