James Epps Parker, age 83, died July 16 at the Kilmichael Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a resident of Winona.

Funeral services were held at Lee Funeral Home chapel, Rev R. L. Wilcutt officiating. Burial was in Scotland cemetery, Lee in charge.

Surviving are five children, Ralph Parker, Charles Parker, and Conger Parker, all of Winona; Mrs. Ruby Littleton, Marvel, Arkansas: and Mrs. Montyne Gentry, Jackson: 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Russell, Homer Holly, Roy Nail, Owen Carpenter, J. D. Sykes and Edward Orsborn.

1939, Attended the Rose-Parker-Harris-Williams Families Reunion in 1939 in the home of Marion Rose Ingram in Alva, MS Note: from files of Wayne N. Parker who is kin to all four families.
