HARRY PORTER, FORMER ROSEVILLE RESIDENT, DIES
Harry Porter, formerly of Roseville and a brother of Robert Porter, passed away Saturday at the Highland hospital in Oakland after being a patient there for the last year.
Funeral services were conducted yesterday at the Halstead funeral parlors in San Francisco and interment was made at Cypress Lawn cemetery.
The deceased was 71 years of age, He was the son of the late Amelia and Henry Porter, pioneer settlers on a ranch three miles southeast of Roseville. Of eight children, Robert Porter survives. Also surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Porter of Oakland, and the following children: Miss Hazel Porter of Oakland, Mervin Porter of Concord, George and Chester Porter of San Francisco.
