In 1856 at the death of his father, he was in Waukegan, Illinois. By 1870 he was living close to his brother Marcus in Penn, Sullivan, Missouri.
He married Emily Sandry, and had one son Vernando Dealto Rich, who moved to Pasadena, California.
He married Minnie B Sharts or Shartz and had one daughter Rita Rich, who is also buried in this cemetery.
Served in the Civil war as a Private , Co. G, 2nd MSM Infantry.
