Robert B. Middleton, 68, of Independence, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at his home.
Bob was born August 6, 1936 in Kanarado, Kan., to Raymond and Esther Middleton. He was a member of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church. He worked as a press operator for Milbanks Mfg., Allis Chalmers, and Vendo Co. Bob also was a bus driver for Independence School District Transportation for several years. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Bill Middleton and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Corrine; son, Bryan Middleton and wife Deanna; daughter, Donna Thompson and husband Howard both of Independence, Mo.; mother, Esther (Ingram) Middleton; grandchildren, Amanda and Marissa Middleton, Jennie and Katie Thompson; brother, Ted Middleton of Independence, Mo.; sisters, Shirley Flood of Kansas City, Mo., Earlene Powell of Independence, Mo., Martha Hodges of Grain Valley, Mo.; many nieces and nephews all over the country.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 28 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501W. Lexington Ave; with interment in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Chapel.
