She was born on February 20th, 1928 in Ash Grove, Missouri to Lura Jane Rasnic and Loren Aubrey Small.
She attended Morrisville and graduated in 1945. She married Bob Schofield in 1960 or 1961 in Springfield, Missouri. She worked at Dayco for twenty years, she ran concession stands at the Monett and Fayetteville raceways, and after retirement, she did "demos" (the sample lady) at Price Cutter for thirteen years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Leon and Dale Small, her sisters Betty Jo Small, Virginia Mynatt and Juanita Geren, and her daughter Anita Lee Peltz and her son Shawn Schofield.
She is survived by her two sons Michael (Deanna) Peltz and Patrick Peltz, her daughter 'n law Sheila Newkirk (Keith), her seven grandchildren Jason Peltz, Niki Young, Rachelle Schofield, Nick Schofield, Ashley Schofield, Sarah Maggard, and Ashley Betancourt, and several great grandchildren.
