Mrs. Sally Wagner Livengood died Sunday afternoon, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Dill, of Meyersdale, aged almost 89 years. Mrs. Livengood was the daughter of William and Margaret Wagner. she was born in Salisbury in the year 1822 in a two story log house which stood on the corner of Ord and Grant Street and is now occupied by Silas A Wagner., however the greater part of her life was spent in the house built by her husband in 1846, two years before their marriage at the corner of Ord and Smith avenue. She was married to Christian C. Livengood in 1848, who preceded her to the grave some twenty odd years ago. The children of this marriage were Mortimer and Albert who died in infancy, Dr. Theo. F. , who now resided in Elizabeth, N.J., Miss Martha and Mrs. Wm. H. Dill, who reside in Meyersdale. The funeral service was held in St. john's Reformed Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and was attended by a large number of friends. Re. Ira S. Monn officiating. Her body was taken to the cemetery on the hill and laid in its final resting place beside that of her husband and children.
