Reverend Damon Adkins, age 86, of Morning View, Kentucky, passed away on March 26, 2021. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, on May 9, 1934, the son of William and Flora Roberts Adkins. He was retired from Roadway as a driver. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Carrollton Masonic Lodge #1400, where he had served as a Master Mason.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sons, Michael Adkins and Dwayne Adkins; a daughter, Teresa Adkins; and three brothers, Earl Adkins, Bill Adkins and Charles "Cotton" Adkins. He is survived by: his wife; Glenda Mae Adkins; seven children, Damon Adkins, Jr., Sheila (Tony) Boyers, Kathy (Tim) Senters, Brenda (Harold) Leveradge, Debbie (Rick) Adkins, Michael (Sheila) Adkins and Tasha Fraley; a brother, Raymond Adkins; a sister, Charlene Adkins; 39 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Laurel Carmel Cemetery, in New Richmond, Ohio. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
