Infant son of John and Sarah (Miller) McElwee
PLYMOUTH CHILD WAS SMOTHERED WHILE IN BED
When Mrs. John McElwee of Mountain Road, Plymouth, awoke this morning she was horrified to finder her six weeks-old son James cold in death. It is presumed that the one was smothered by bed clothes while its parents were asleep. Dr Lockard was summoned to the house, but upon examining the body stated that life had been extinct several hours. Mr. mad Mrs. McElwee are heart broken over the child's sad end and they have the sympathy of the neighbors. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will be in the St. Vincent cemetery, Plymouth.
