Verna Lee Turner daughter of the late Alice Tinker Bounds and James Bounds was born at Big Creek, Missouri, on May 16, 1931. She departed this life at Brent B. Tinnin Manor in Ellington, Missouri, on May 30, 2014 at the age of 83.
On June 14, 1952 in Bunker, Missouri, Verna was united in marriage to Robert Ray Turner. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2005. Verna's hobbies included digging roots, hunting mushrooms, picking up cans and spending time with her family and her dogs.
Verna was preceded by her parents and her husband.
Verna is survived by one son, Bob Turner Jr. on Centerville, Missouri, one sister, Mary Buford of Centerville, Missouri, two grandchildren, Bobby Turner III of Centerville, Missouri, and Amanda Turner of Birch Tree, Missouri. Verna will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will mourn her passing.
