Jack Feimster, 82, of Cleveland, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Born June 10, 1922, in Alexander County, to the late Ernest Davidson and Etta Gentle Feimster, he was a retired construction worker for Gwaltney’s Construction Company. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Feimster was a member of Amity Lutheran Church, Cleveland. He was married to Margaret Goodman Feimster, who preceded him in death. A son, Lewis Feimster; sonin-law, James Hayer; and grandsons, Gerald Hayer and Gary Robinson also preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 26, at Amity Lutheran Church, Cleveland. Burial followed in the church cemetery with full Military Graveside Rites provided by DAV Post 68, VFW Post 2031, and American Legions Post 65 and 217.
