OBITUARY
BEAVERS--Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Eph Scott at the Kurtz Church of the Nazarene this Morning at 11 o'clock for Samuel Beavers, age 81, who died at the home of his son, Oliver Beavers, two miles west of Kurtz, Tuesday Morning at 12:35 o/clock. Burial in the Kurtz Cemetery. He had been ill about three weeks with heart disease.
Mr. Beavers, the son of Martin and Mary Ann Beavers, deceased, was born in Jackson County November 15, 1857. In 1883 he was married in Brownstown to Lizzie Lacy, who survives. Besides the son at whose house he died, he leaves another son, Ed Beavers, of Seymour and two brothers, Oliver and John Beavers, both of near Kurtz.
