Her father was a truckman and fish merchant and he had married on Campobello Island Oct 18, 1803 and resided there and in Calais Maine. Her father had been one of the sons of the Loyalist David Butler who settled Deer Island 1783.
Abigail married Archibald Campbell Oct 27, 1839 in Calais, Washington County, Maine, 8 children.
She died in Calais of congestion. Death record gives age as 76 and 9 mos and gives parents as David and Hannah (Hooper) Butler, both born in New Brunswick.
