"The funeral of Mrs. T. A. [Asberry] Draper, 64, of 114-24th NW, was set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Leverett & Steele chapel, and burial in Mount Tabor Cemetery at Caviness. The Rev. Cecil Owens, pastor of Westwood Baptist Church, where Mrs. Draper was a member, was to officiate.
The former Exa B. Ricketson, daughter of Baker Ricketson and the former Jessie Pearl Drake, Mrs. Draper was born in Lamar County, Dec. 13, 1902. She died Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. of illness at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her husband's death occurred Aug. 13, 1942.
Survivors being eight children; J. A. Don and the Rev. Bill Draper and Mrs. W. T. Dunn?, all of Paris; Thomas Draper, Fort Worth; Mrs. George Bryant, Colorado City; Mrs. Jim Reese, Kirkland, Wash., and Mrs. Raymond Hackfield, Loraine; also 26 other descendants, two brothers, the Rev. Louis F. Ricketson, Caviness community, and Kenneth Ricketson, Corpus Christi, and a sister, Mrs. Marshall Barnes, Fort Worth."
