Storm Lake Register - Saturday , March 4th, 1978 - Mrs. Rebecca Taylor of Storm
Lake died in the Buena Vista county hospital Wednesday afternoon, March 1, after a month's illness.
Funeral services were today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. in the Sliefert funeral home with Rev. James A. Campbell officiating. Burial was in the Odebolt cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born May 2, 1892, in Sac county near Odebolt where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Ward Taylor on Jan. 19, 1916. The couple moved to a farm in Ida county where they resided until Mr Taylor's health necessitated
an early retirement, and they moved to Storm Lake in 1944.
Survivors include her daughters, LaVaun Hoft and Ardelle Bruns all of Storm Lake; a son-in-law, Wallace Bruns; and three grandchildren.
