Valley Spirit (Weekly) 31 Jan 1912, Wed, p5 – Mrs Elizabeth Kauffman, Aged 77 Years – Mrs Elizabeth Kauffman, died at the home of her son, Joseph E Kauffman, 131 Cedar street at 10:34 o'clock Saturday night. Mrs Kauffman was aged 77 years, 4 months, and 2 days, and is survived by her son with how she made her home and one sister, Mrs Jacob Weaver of Lancaster county, and one brother Isaiah Auker of Blosserville. She was a member of the German Baptist Brethren church. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev Peter Lehman, assisted by the Rev Dr J E Kleffman. The remains will be taken to Thompsontown on Tuesday morning on the 7:45 CVRR train where interment will be made.
