Charleen M. Wilcheck, 65, of Hurley, New York passed away on September 30, 2020 surrounded
by her loving family. Charleen was born on July 12, 1955 in Newburgh, NY. She was the oldest
child of the late Harry and Etta Christofferson. Charleen graduated from Marlboro High School
in 1974. She married David Wilcheck on August 23, 1975. She is survived by her husband,
David Wilcheck, daughter Renee Wilcheck and son in law Brian Collins, daughter Jamie Canino
and son in law Marc Canino, son David Wilcheck, and many loving cousins. Charleen had six
grandchildren, Allie, Jaidyn, Gavin, Leah, Maggie Roe, and Shea. Charleen was an adoring
Mimi to all of her grandchildren. She had the biggest heart and the most beautiful soul. She
always touched all who were lucky enough to meet her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from 10am-12 noon at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main St, Highland, NY 12528. In observance of New York State guidelines, we will be limiting visitors to no more than 33% of our maximum capacity; A distance of at least 6 ft. must be maintained amongst all individuals inside our funeral home and acceptable face coverings must be worn while inside. We kindly ask after paying your respects, that you exit promptly so that we can continue to move guests in and out of the funeral home.
