Mrs. Shirley Dunbar Jennings, age 83, a native and longtime resident of the Styx River Community passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021. She enjoyed feeding the birds, tending to her flowers and painting. Mrs. Jennings loved The Lord. She was preceded in death by her two brother Vincent Dunbar and Dale Dunbar and is survived by her husband of 67 years, James D. Jennings, two daughters Rita Hardy (James), Janie Jones (Fiance' John Pratt), two sons Joey Jennings, Shane Jennings (Elizabeth), brother Glenn Dunbar, eight grandchildren Jamie Hardy (Lisa), Angela Weeks (Bryan), Amber Roy (Will), Kami Duncan (Trip), Nathaniel Jennings (Kate), Garrett Jennings, Bryton Jennings and Cameron Jennings and nine great grandchildren Hunter, Ansley, Baylon, Brantley, Barrett, Alex, Jakob, Taylor and Caroline. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hinote Cemetery, Styx River Community, Alabama.
