Allmon--Carson--married July 2, 1890, by Rev. F. I. Swaney, Mr. John
Allmon and Miss Mattie Carson.
His obituary in the Free Press Standard, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, March
2, 1916.
Neuralgia of the heart caused the death of John P. Allmon, Lee Twp., on
Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Friday in the chestnut Ridge
Methodist Episcopal Church, of which he was a member, and interment will be
made in the Church cemetery. He was born May 19, 1862, at Bergholz, and was
married July 2, 1890, to Martha E. Carson, who survives along with a
daughter, Agnes Allmon. Brother and sisters living are: W. M. Allmon, of
Richland Center, Wisconsin; Mesdames Hamilton Saltsman, of Alliance, and
Thomas Duffy, of Bergholz.
