" WILLIAM T. GOODMAN
William Thomas Goodman, aged 73 years, died at his home on Hasson Heights at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon after an illness of six months due to a complication of diseases. He was born at Goodmans Corners, Pinegrove township, on December 23, 1854 [1853], a son of Peter and Mary Hilliard Goodman. He engaged in the farming occupation the greater part of his life and had been a resident of Oil City for the past 39 years. In 1876 he was married to Miss Anna Culp. The following children survive: L.E. and E.S. Goodman and Mrs. J.R. Keverline of Oil City, Mrs. B.M. Heath of Plumer, Mrs. J.L. Confer of Bradford, Mrs. F.W. Sanford of Pittsburgh, Mrs. L.J. Karns of Oil City, Mrs. Sibley Mong of Rocky Grove. Thirty-five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The body was removed to the Osenider funeral parlors to be prepared for burial and will be taken to the family home today. Prayer services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, followed by funeral services in the Evangelical church at 2:30 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. S.V. Ca_many, officiating."
