Lyle Bowers
Lyle Bowers, 78, of Webberville, died Feb. 3 in Lansing.
He was bom Aug. 17, 1912, in Shiawassee County to Ira and Jennie (Gott) Bowers. He married Alice Peyton, and she survives.
Mr. Bowers was employed at Hoover Ball Bearing Factory.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Beverly Demeriy of Owosso, Sue Murningham of Brighton and Mary Wright of Fowlerville; two sons, Norman Bowers of Bernalillo, N.M., and Jerry Bowers of Perry, three step-daughters, Darline Austin of Austin, Texas, Nancy Vaughn of Austin and Dale Smith of Ann Arbor; one sister, Myrtle Spicer of Flat Rock; one stepson, Gale Smith of Austin; and 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were Feb. 6 at Liverance Funeral Home, Fowlerville, the Rev. Robert Secrist of First United Methodist Church, Fowlerville, officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Fowlerville.
