MRS. ALICE PERRY
Mrs. Alice Perry, remembered as the widow of Curtis Perry, who had been making her home in Mishawaka for several months died in that place last Saturday morning. The funeral was held at the Mt. Pleasant church Monday afternoon, northwest of this place, and the burial occurred in the adjacent cemetery. Mrs. Alice Perry, daughter of Simon and Eliza Freese, was born in Marshall Co, Indiana, on the 14 day of July, 1857, and departed this life at her sister's home, in Mishawaka April 2, 1938, thus reaching the age of 81 years, 8 months, and 18 days. The departed spent her entire life in Marshall Co. She was united in marriage to Andrew C. Perry in 1876. They spent their entire life on the farm together, until 1931 when they were separated by the death of Mr. Perry. In October, 1936, Mrs. Perry went to live with her sister, in Mishawaka. Mrs. Perry leaves two sisters; Mrs. Albert Evans, of South Bend, and Mrs. Charles Martsolf, of Mishawaka, and one brother, Calvin Freese, of Houston, MO.
