Mrs. Heather Stroup Abdul-Rahman, age 44, of Cedartown passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021.
She was born August 2, 1976 in Rockmart, Georgia to her parents, Ted and Lynn Stroup.
Heather devoted her life to her family; she could always see the good in people. She enjoyed reading a good book anytime she could. She spent her spare time collecting Coke memorabilia, making arts & crafts, and working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. James L. Rosser, Bobbie “Mammol” Rosser, Ambous Stroup, and Helen Stroup; father-in-law, Sameeh Abdul-Rahman; uncle, Jimmy Rosser; aunt, Tammy Deal; brothers in law, Hani Abdul-Rahman and Ali Abdul-Rahman.
Heather is survived by her loving husband, Wael Abdul-Rahman; sons, Sameeh Abdul-Rahman, Brahem Abdul-Rahman; daughter, Nellie Abdul-Rahman; parents, Ted & Lynn Stroup; sister and brother-in-law, Deresa & Kerry Eason; brother and sister-in-law, TJ & Jennifer Stroup. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins also survive.
Funeral service for Heather will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with her children delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow her service at Polk Memory Gardens.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: her sons, Brahem Abdul-Rahman & Sameeh Abdul-Rahman; brother, TJ Stroup; brother-in-law, Kerry Eason; nephews, Tyler Eason & Dalton Eason.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 8, 2021 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM.
