William Adamski Jr, 92, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Bill was born September 5, 1928 in Springfield, IL to German immigrants, William Sr and Martha (Stonetski) Adamski. He married his Lanphier High School sweetheart, Georgia Hodge, on July 14, 1950.

He devoted 35 years as a tool and die draftsman for heavy equipment at Allis-Chalmers.
Not being one to retire, he then joined sons, Eric and Rob, in construction for 10 years.
He was instrumental in helping build homes for 3 of his kids, as well as Morning Star Cafe, and untold projects at Lake Helen Bible Camp in Wisconsin.

His third career was part owner, along with Georgia and daughter Pat, at Morning Star in Salisbury. He tackled anything that needed to be done there, but mostly he enjoyed visiting with the customers. Bill was also fond of fishing, traveling in the RV, family or church gatherings, and keeping busy and useful. Over the years, he attended and supported Bethany (German) Church, Hope Church, and more recently Cherry Hills.

His love of the Lord was evident by his servant heart.

Bill is survived by his 4 children: Linda (Tenn), Pat (Salisbury), Eric (Petersburg) and Rob (Springfield); 10 grandchildren: Rachael, Olivia, Lydia, Chaiim, David, Katelyn, Megan, Kelly, Morgan, and Will; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Donald (Evelyn) of Chatham. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Georgia, and brother, Fred.
