Lemont, Jan. 6.
"Mrs. Madeline Leonhart, 79 years old, died in her home after an illness. She was born in Alsace, Germany, and lived here the past 57 years.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Amanda Melville, with whom she made her home, Mrs. John Eipers of Aurora, Mrs. Harry Gregory of Downers Grove, Mrs. Haggerman of Naperville, Mrs. William Huessner; three sons, Charles and Ernest of Argo and Edward of Chicago; 31 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this afternoon from the late residence to St. Mathews Lutheran church. Burial was in St. Mathew's cemetery."
