Margarita was a Catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Margarita was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Margarita loved spending time at the ranch feeding her cows and maintained her ranch until her final days, she loved her cows and anything to do with the ranch.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, José Eloy Romero, son, Floyd Romero, daughters, Verona Sena, Helen Romero and Consuelo Romero, son, Cecilio Grano, brothers, Epi Grano, Roberto Grano, Augustine Grano, Ramon Grano and José Grano, sister, Viviana Gurulé, sons-in-law, Roger Romero and Salomon Esquíbel.
Margarita is survived by her children, Rudy Grano, Luís Grano (Carmela), Linda Esquíbel, all of Las Vegas, NM, Lillian Domagall (Patrick) of Denver, CO, Paul Romero (Geraldine) of Albuquerque, NM, José Romero Jr. (Ruth) of Albuquerque, NM, Beatrice Guenther (Stephen) of West Union Iowa, Eloisa Aldridge (Danny) of Rio Rancho, NM and Abran Romero of Las Vegas, NM, 41 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, numerous, great-great-grandchildren, sister, Jesusita López of Rocky Ford, CO, daughter-in-law, Marcia Grano and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.
Funeral service will be live streamed on face book Our Lady of Sorrows Church, oloslasvegas.org or You Tube Our Lady of Sorrows Church. You may also listen to it on 105.5 am radio station. Due to Covid 19 masks must be worn and social distancing is required. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM. Serving as Pallbearers will be Floyd Romero, Patrick Domagall, James Esquíbel, Eloy Sena, Diego Romero and Moises Esquíbel. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her remaining grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
