Mary was born on August 12, 1939, in Coryell County, to the late Wedith and Corrine Gartrel Bishop. She grew up in Gatesville and resided in Gatesville for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Brown; siblings, Sybil, Dorothy, Lonnie, John and Jessie.
She is survived by her children, John Bushong, Mary Bushong, Jess Bushong, Edwina Newman, Ray Hines, Janice Hines, Walter Hines, Troy Hines, Loretta Hines, Nolan Hines; siblings, Wedith Bishop, Jr., William Edward Bishop, Tommy Bishop, Herschel Bishop; 22 plus grandchildren; and 20 plus great-grandchildren.
