KLINE, Sarah - April 10, 1919 - The sad news reached Clarion County friends Thursday, April 13, 1919, that Mrs. Sarah Kline, wife of the late David Kline, a native and long tome resident of the county, had died that day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas I. Fulmer, 700 Converse Street, McKeesport, Pa. Mrs. Kline was born Feb. 5, 1837, in Monroe Township, Clarion County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Smith. She was united in marriage with Mr. Kline on February 5, 1855, and made their home in this county until thirteen years ago when Mr. Kline passed away. She is survived by the following children; Dr. Geo. B and William D. Kline, Pittsburgh; S. Griffth Kline, Sisterville, W.Va.; Dr. L. Curtis Kline, Tarentum, and Mrs. Minnie Fulmer, McKeesport. Eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive, with three brothers and one sister, J. Adam Smith, Clarion; Jerry Smith, Lawsonham; and S.H. Smith, Piney Twp., and Mrs. E.E. Henry, Porter Twp.
She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church at Churchville and was known and noted as the possessor of those beautiful Christian virtures which endeared her to all who knew her. The body was brought to Churchville last Saturday, April 5th, and the funeral service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Howe, in the Lutheran Church, the interment being made in the adjoining cemetery.
