She spent most of her working years caring for her family as a stay at home mother. In her spare time she enjoyed sailing on the Saginaw Bay, fishing with her parents and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew her, and missed greatly by her cat Rudy.

Glory is survived by her sons: Adam (Megan) Tompa, Chris (Theresa) Tompa, her grandchildren: Max, Penelope, Bradley and Vivian Tompa. Glory’s mother Phyllis Stedry, siblings: Mary (Joe) Menard, Scott (Carrie) Stedry, Kim Hegler, Vence Stedry and her nieces and nephews: Mitchell Menard, Jared Menard, Jeremy Stedry, Kara Stedry, Zack Stedry, Brook Rehmann and Melissa survive her.

She was predeceased by her father Vence Stedry on March 12, 2011. She is also predeceased by many loving aunts and uncles.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service for family and close friends will take place at a later date. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601), the Dementia Society of America (PO Box 600 - Doylestown, PA 18901) or the Saginaw County Animal Care Center (1312 Gratiot Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602).
