Frank Brockbank Creer, 85, died January 29, 1993 at his home.

He was born April 30, 1907 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Mary Elizabeth Brockbank and John Preston Creer. He married Sara Moyle September 17, 1930 in the Salt Lake Temple. Frank graduated from East High School, the University of Utah and Harvard Business School. He played football at both East and the University. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and the Salt Lake Rotary Club. He was active in many civic organizations, including the Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, Salvation Army, and served on the Utah Board of Corrections. He spent his business career with Utah Idaho School Supply. He was a high priest in the University Ward. Frank loved the symphony, ballet and opera and taking his grandchildren to the zoo.

He is survived by his wife, Sara, and children: Alice Young, John Preston and Jennie Creer, Elizabeth Buehner, David and Joan Creer, Salt Lake City; Sally and Brooke Grant, Park City; Caroline Pinney, Summit, New Jersey; 28 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters: Jennie Stoddard, East Lansing, Michigan; Lucille Webb, Ogden; Clara Driggs, Hillsboro Beach, Florida; Mary Shaver, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 1993 at 12 noon at the University Ward, 160 South University Street. Friends may call Monday, 5:30-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Tuesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the ward. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to Hogle Zoo, 2600 Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake City, 84108.
