Lyons - Mrs. Mary Henderson Lyons was born in Jackson, Ohio, September 24, 1864, was married to I. E. Lyons, October 13, 1892, died at her home in Scioto township April 11, 1906, after an illness of about three weeks duration. She leaves to mourn their loss, a husband I. E. Lyons and three sons, Meldick, Thomas J. and Leo W. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Henderson, and is the first loss in the family consisting of father, mother and eight children, the youngest being thirty three years old. She had been ailing for about eight years but on March 25, she was taken with pneumonia from which she died. Her last words were, "I will soon be up yonder." She was a kind and loving wife and mother, loved by all. Her last request was that her little children should be taken care of. The interment was made at Jacobs cemetery conducted by undertaker Wood with the following brothers-in-law as pallbearers: C. A. Brookins, J. E. Walker, John Reigel, J. R. Lant, and Chas. Lyons. May she rest in peace until the final summons when she shall meet her loved ones on that better
