Daniel "Ricky" Afraid of Hawk, Jr., age 60, of Eagle Butte, SD entered the Spirit World on Wednesday, February 10, 2020 at Sioux Falls, SD.
Ricky is survived by six daughters, Marsha Afraid of Hawk, Kearn, UT, Latisha Afraid of Hawk, Salt Lake City, UT, LaSheena Afraid of Hawk, LaBree Afraid of Hawk and Tashina Afraid of Hawk of Sioux Falls, SD, Daniela Afraid of Hawk of Cherry Creek, SD. One brother, John Afraid of Hawk of Cherry Creek. Two sisters, Marliss Afraid of Hawk of Dupree, SD and Janice Afraid of Hawk of Cherry Creek. 21 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for funeral services with social distancing, a wake Service will begin at 4:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Zintkala Hall at Cherry Creek, SD. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 19 at the Zintkala Hall. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery at Cherry Creek.
