Betty Agnes Eleanore Homsey (nee Campbell) was born on Jan 15, 1928. She was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society at Victory Villa Senior Center in Middle River. She also held many titles through the years at Victory Villa Senior Center including President, Vice President, Treasurer and Travel Coordinator. She loved to play Pinochle and Canasta with her friends. She cared for her late husband for 6 years after he suffered a massive stroke and was paralyzed. She loved having her granddaughters, great-granddaughters and great-great-granddaughters around. She greatly missed them when COVID-19 got in the way. She helped raise a grandson and great-granddaughter. Betty was the second oldest of 17 children. She loved Christmas and had no problems if the decorations were left up year around!

Betty is predeceased by her husband Michael Homsey Jr, daughters Kathy Hartley and Helen Tate, grandson Seebert Hartley III and many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Michael Homsey III, granddaughters Sabrena Hartley and Jennifer Tate, grandson Stephen Homsey, great-granddaughters Kristiana Schuman, Alexandra Meyerhoff and Faith Homsey, great-grandsons Braden Homsey and Chad Clark, great-great-granddaughters Katelyn Collurafici, Madison Schuman, Isabella Schuman, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18th, 2020 at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue at 10 am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm.
