Mr. Darryll “Steve” Underwood, age 68 of Griffin passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Underwood was born in Macon, Georgia on March 6, 1952. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. Underwood and Charlotte B. Underwood; sister, Beth Underwood.

Steve was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Underwood; children, Chris Underwood and wife, Melanie, Marie Underwood; grandchildren, Hunter, Evan, Will, Garrett, Matthew; great-grandchild, Matilda; siblings, Nancy Pryor and husband, Mitchell; aunt Gerry Dunn; mother-in-law, Anne Batchelor; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation for Steve Underwood will be February 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Fossett Cemetery in Pike County. Reverend John Nance will officiate.
