Margaret (Blair) Testrake, age 88, of Ripley passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, from natural causes at LECOM Senior Living Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 20, 1933, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of the late John and Teresa (Ronaldson) Blair. Margaret was the matriarch of her family and a dearly loved, passionate, homemaker. She was a member of the St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church. Margaret was a very active member of her home town of Ripley community and her church community at St. Greg’s. She was also a long time member of the Ripley Women’s Club of which she was past president. She was a master gardener, she enjoyed poetry, ballet, and the opera, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Roger Testrake; daughter, Virginia Lynn Testrake “Ginny”; her nine older brothers and sisters; and her daughter-in-law, Martha Testrake. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Teresa Testrake (Ray Rosario) of Ripley; sons, Steven Testrake (Debby) of Escondido, California, James Testrake of North East; grandchildren, Rebecca Testrake of California, Eric Testrake (Morgan) of Colorado, Zachary Mota (Alex James) of Erie, Kathryn and Claire Testrake of California, Joseph DiBuono (Madison) of San Diego, Calf., Nicholas Dibuono (Desiree Marino) of New Jersey, and Gina Dibuono (Vance Hall) of Florida; great-grandchildren, Emerson and Marshall Testrake of Colorado and Julian, Ethan, and Sean Bender of Erie, Pa.; as well as many dearly loved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. The world has lost a great lady and heaven has gained a beautiful angel. A memorial service will be held in the Summer of 2021. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East. Memorials may be made to Ripley Volunteer Fire Department, 11 South State St., Ripley, NY 14775. Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery.
